SOUTHAMPTON’S Gary Hunt clinched his fifth Red Bull Cliff Diving World title with two round to go – despite finishing fifth in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After five successive wins, Hunt missed the podium for the first time this year.

Mexican Jonathan Paredes (480.90pts), pictured below, won the first event of his career from the world-famous Stari Most bridge in Mostar.

His compatriot Sergio Guzman (471.05) scored the first podium finish by a wildcard, coming second from the 28-metre platform.

America’s David Colturi (470.60) produced the best dive of the day to complete the podium.

Ten days after winning the FINA World high diving championship, Hunt took 453.40 points from the sixth of the eight stops.

It was enough to add a fifth Red Bull title to those he won in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014.

Blake Aldridge was tenth.
