GRAZIANO Pelle can today join the list of Saints players who have helped their country reach Euro 2016, as Italy travel to Azerbaijan for their latest qualifier.

The striker is expected to start in Baku (5pm), where a win will be good enough to ensure the Azzurri advance from Group H to next summer's finals.

Pelle only made his senior international debut a year ago, but has been an important figure in Italy's campaign.

He scored the only goal in the 1-0 win away to Malta in his first appearance, while he also netted the decisive strike in the reverse fixture between the sides last month.

Elsewhere, Virgil van Dijk will be hoping for a first senior cap for the Netherlands, as they hope to salvage their qualification campaign away to Kazakhstan (5pm).

The Dutch are fourth in Group A and cannot qualify automatically, with their only hope that they can overhaul third-placed Turkey, who are two points ahead of them with two to go, and get a play-off spot.

Two more Saints players are scheduled for international duty today, with Sam Gallagher and Harrison Reed part of the England Under-20 squad preparing to face Turkey in their second match of the Mercedes-Benz Elite Cup, in Germany (11am).

Both started England's opening game - a 3-1 win against the Netherlands - in which Gallagher scored.

Sunday could see six Saints players in action, with Victor Wanyama first up, as he leads Kenya into the second leg of their preliminary World Cup qualifier against Mauritius (2pm).

Kenya lead 5-2 from the first match, and look set to progress to the next round, where they will take on Cape Verde.

Steven Davis heads to Finland with Northern Ireland, as they look to wrap up top spot in Group F (5pm), while Shane Long and the Republic of Ireland head to Poland for a showdown that will determine whether they qualify automatically or go into the play-offs (7.45pm).

Jose Fonte and Cedric Soares could also come up against teammate Dusan Tadic, as Portugal visit Serbia (5pm).
