Mikael Mandron scored twice as Eastleigh thrashed Northampton Town 4-1 at the Silverlake Stadium today.
The former Sunderland striker netted a double early in the second half as the Spitfires maintained their impressive pre season friendly form.
The hosts had led at the interval following a goal from last season’s top scorer, James Constable.
After Mandron’s brace, another striker – Scott Wilson – made it 4-0 with his first touch before the Cobblers, last season’s League 2 champions, reduced the arrears late on through Shaun McWilliams.
