VANARAMA National League South outfit Gosport Borough have been served with a winding-up petition by HM Revenue and Customs for the second time this year.
Borough, whose chairman Mark Hook is leader of Gosport Borough Council, faced similar action in July but it was dismissed just over a month later.
This latest petition will be heard at the High Court, Royal Courts of Justice, in London on Monday, November 21.
The news comes at a time when Gosport's manager of 11 years, Alex Pike, is being heavily touted for the vacant job at AFC Totton.
