AFC TOTTON, Sholing and Winchester City are safely through to the Hampshire FA Senior Cup quarter-finals.

Mike Gosney set up goals for Nick Watts and Jack Vallis before scoring himself as Totton eased 3-0 up against Horndean.

But the Deans hit back for 3-2 through Sam Smart and Rob Tambling and it needed a point-blank save from Charlie Searle to preserve the Stags’ slender advantage. It was Totton's first win under recently appointed manager Louis Langdown.

Winchester enjoyed a 6-1 goal feast at Fleet Town through Craig Feeney (2), Stuart Green, Howard Neighbour, Joe Briggs and IK Hills, while late goals from Lee Wort (penalty) and Nick Yeomans fired Sholing through 2-0 at AFC Portchester, ending the Royals' 16-match unbeaten run.

Eastleigh’s young side bowed out 3-1 at Gosport Borough. An Adam Brice header separated the teams at half-time before ex-Spitfire Ben Wright made it 2-0 to Borough. James Granger pulled one back from the penalty spot, but Gosport’s Josh Carmichael had the last word.

Ash Ledger’s penalty took AFC Stoneham past Fawley 1-0, Basingstoke Town (Aaron Jarvis) beat Cowes Sports 1-0, and Lymington Town exited 4-0 at Hartley Wintney.

In the Sydenhams Premier Division, Blackfield & Langley took out their FA Vase frustrations on Fareham Town, beating them 7-0 through Luke Winsper (3), Carl Preston (2) and Sam Wilson (2).

The Watersiders are up to third, but remain nine points adrift of leaders Moneyfields who won 2-0 at Brockenhurst.

John Cole scored his fourth goal in five games as Alresford Town made it three league wins on the bounce, prevailing 2-1 at Bemerton.

The Harlequins replied from the penalty spot, but debut-making Jack Wiffen – a late call-up to the squad – bagged the Magpies’ stoppage-time winner.

Coby Wilson scored for Hamble Club in their 2-1 Russell Cotes Cup exit at Petersfield Town.

Justin Bennett’s 12-minute hat-trick was flanked by goals from Brandon Mundy and Tommy Wright in Salisbury’s 5-0 romp at Bishops Cleeve in the Southern One South & West. The Whites are eighth in the table.
