EX-SAINT Jamie White is back in the scoring groove after returning from injury.

White struck twice in the Waterside derby at Gang Warily last night as Blackfield & Langley cruised past Fawley AFC 5-0 to go second in the Sydenhams Premier Division.

Fawley were forced to switch the fixture to Blackfield’s ground following the sudden closure of the Waterside Sports & Social Club.

They succumbed to three goals from Sam Poole, Liam Robinson and White between the 12th and 17th minutes before Sam Wilson (62) and White again (90) set the seal on victory.

Glenn Howes' men are nine points behind leaders Moneyfields with a game in hand.

Sholing’s scheduled trip to Alresford Town and the Whitchurch v Andover showdown were frozen off.

Team Solent showed rock-bottom Verwood Town no mercy on Tuesday with a 6-1 romp at Test Park courtesy of Silvano Obeng (2), Tyrell Mitford, Jim Orvis, Jesse Waller-Lassen and sub Steve Black.

The sixth-placed Students are a point clear of Brockenhurst who shared the New Forest derby spoils 1-1 at Lymington Town.

Ryan Long’s penalty fired Brock ahead after a foul on Will Tickle before Charlie Willett levelled things up.

Portland United eased past Dorset neighbours Hamworthy 3-0 through Lewis Clarke, Tom Richardson and Max Buckler, while the Bashley v Bournemouth and Bemerton Heath v Amesbury clashes ended 0-0.

Hythe & Dibden and Totton & Eling also battled out a goalless stalemate in Sydenhams Division One last night.

Honours were even too between Christchurch (Ash Pope) and AFC Stoneham (Chris Manning) who drew 1-1 at Hurn Bridge.

News was not so good for Romsey Town, crushed 5-1 by Weymouth Reserves at the Bob Lucas Stadium.
