FORMER Eastleigh assistant manager Shaun Wilkinson is Alex Pike's new right-hand man at Gosport Borough.
He steps into the role vacated by Mick Catlin last week.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion, Weymouth and Havant & Waterlooville midfielder was No2 to Ian Baird at Eastleigh.
He briefly stayed with the Spitfires after Baird's tenure was ended in 2012, but new boss Richard Hill wanted his own staff and appointed Guy Butters in his place.
Wilkinson's first game with Gosport will be at Hampton & Richmond Borough today (3pm).
Wilkinson tweeted last night: "Back in the mixer, plenty of work to be done - observation tomorrow. Hard work starts next week on the training ground."
