TOMMY Wright has joined Justin Bennett at the top of Salisbury’s goal charts.

The former Otterbourne striker, on a season-long loan from Sutton United, hit a hat-trick as the Whites climbed to fourth in the Southern One South & West with a 7-0 slaying of bottom club Bridgwater Town.

It moves him onto 41 league and cup goals, level with Bennett who is currently sidelined by injury.

Joining Wright on the scoresheet against Bridgwater were Eddie Perrett (2), Lewis Benson and Tom Wheeler.

The landslide victory moves Salisbury to within a point of third-placed Tiverton.

Moneyfields took another significant step towards the Sydenhams Premier title by turning over neighbours Horndean 4-0.

The Money men led through Jake Raine and Nathan Paxton when the Deans’ Jack Warren was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Further goals from Lewis Fennemore and Brett Poate pulled Dave Carter’s men seven points clear of Portland United at the summit.

Down at the other end of the table, second-to-bottom Fawley AFC pulled off a remarkable 4-3 win at Fareham Town led by hat-trick hero Kieran Roche.

Three times the Oilers slipped behind to goals from Curt Robbins, Elliot Roberts and Simon Woods, but they hit back each time and, after Callum Tanner had levelled matters 3-3, Roche summoned up the 66th-minute winner.

There were goals galore too at Bashley where Team Solent stumbled to a 3-2 defeat.

Jemal Wiseman and Pip Nolan got the Students out of bother after Dan Munday had twice put Bash in front, but Kabba Jack had the last word for the Foresters.

A single Indi Elezi goal edged Romsey to a 1-0 win at Fleet Spurs in Sydenhams One, but there was bad news for Totton & Eling, beaten 3-1 at home by US Portsmouth (Lewis Beale, Brendon Agnew, 2).
