MANOLO Gabbiadini has been ruled out of Saints' Premier League game against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday with injury.
The in-form Italian, who has netted six goals in five appearances since his £14m January move from Napoli, limped out of Saints' 2-1 defeat to Tottenham last time out.
It was later revealed that he had picked up a groin strain and subsequently pulled out of the Italy squad to stay at St Mary's to recover.
But Claude Puel today announced that the 25-year-old had not regained full fitness and would not be available for the Cherries match, but he could be ready to face Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
"Gabbiadini cannot play this game, he is not available, but we will see for the next game," Puel said.
