MICK Catlin, who recently had a temporary spell in charge of Winchester City, has joined the Moneyfields' management team.

The former Gosport Borough No2 has stepped in to replace Moneys' assistant boss Mat Jones who is unavailable for the rest of the season.

Catlin spent nine years at Gosport working alongside Alex Pike, but left in mid-January with the club in turmoil on and off the park.

He re-emerged at Winchester in February, taking charge for three games when then boss Ian Saunders was called away on urgent Army business.

Confirming that Catlin is now at Dover Road, Moneyfields - the Sydenhams Premier champions elect - last night tweeted: "With @matjones_23 unavailable for the rest of the season MR @mickcatlin1 has joined the management team #TopMan#UpTheMoneys
