He landed a huge bag of carp to 8 lb on the long pole and corn fished to the shallows for 123 lb 6 oz.

Nigel Fitzgerald was second with 76 lb 8 oz of carp on the pole and meat from the margins, with Pete Newman third with 67 lb 2 oz/

Parkgate and British Legion fished a match on Dandy Fords Match Lake with Barry Southerland taking 65 lb 2 oz on ledgered bread from peg 14.

Chris Witt was second with 43 lb 4 oz on pole and pellet from peg 12.

Rob Jennings took 42 lb from peg 3 and Steve Palmer took 35 lb 8 oz from peg 10.

Eastleigh fished a club match on Winnal with Graham Tappenden taking 17 lb 6 oz which consisted of six bream and roach on the pole and maggot from peg 7 for first place.

Mick Hawkins fished peg 16 with a tench, a 2 lb perch and four bream on the tip for 17 lb 4 oz.

Basingstoke Railway A.C fished a match on Dandy Fords Match Lake with Trevor Matthews fishing peg 17a for 42 lb 10 oz of carp to 8 lb on the pole and corn for victory.

Colin Harris finished second with 40 lb from peg 6 on pole and pellet.

The Witherington Farm's Teams of Four match saw Eastleigh Misfits win with 35 points from Dandys K2 ( 34).

Alex Nadin (Whitemoor) took 95 lb of carp on pole, pellet and meat from the inner snake lake to win from John Gray (Reids Tackle) with 85 lb 12 oz of carp on the pole from the outer snake lake.

Mark Canning (Reids Tackle B) took 80 lb 2 oz from the inner snake lake for third and Andy Potter (Dandys K2) 73 lb 6 oz from the outer snake lake for fourth.

The Isle of Wight’s Blackwater Syndicate saw Dan Russell take a cracking 40 lb 6 oz mirror and Jack Petitt a 24 lb 4 oz mirror.

On Rookley Park, Dan Coles took a 29 lb 2 oz mirror, Steve Crouch a 27 lb 4 oz common, Craig McManus a 27 lb 11 oz mirror and Steve Kenell a 21 lb 6 oz common.

On Milton Abbas Syndicate, Tony Knill took an English personal best mirror of 41 lb 8 oz - part of a fve-fish haul from the venue.

Over on Todber Manor's Big Hayes, Mark Puddlefoot landed two carp topped by a 27 lb 8 oz mirror on Mainline Cell.
