Chris Hobbs lost his Southern Area light heavyweight title but won a lot of fans after a gutsy defeat to Anthony Yarde.
It was a brave defence for Hobbs to accept just ten weeks after winning the belt, with Yarde a much fancied prospect tipped for world honours.
However, Hobbs has never been one to back down from a challenge and the solider from Southampton was as game as you would have expected in the ring.
Hobbs tried to be cagey but was stunned by a few crunching body shots from Yarde.
He was put down six times in total before his corner stopped the fight in the fourth round with the 29-year-old clearly unwilling to stop meaning that Yarde picked up the belt.
