Eastleigh scored twice in the last ten minutes to complete a dramatic comeback at the Silverlake Stadium.

The Spitfires looked to be heading for a second 2-0 home defeat in three days before manager Richard Hill’s triple substitution in the 68th minute.

Galvanised, Eastleigh pulled one back through an Ayo Obileye penalty after a cross from sub Bradley Hudson-Odoi led to a foul on Ben Williamson.

Eastleigh were denied by two Carl Bentney saves during five minutes of injury time.

The second was a world-class dive low to his right to keep out a header from sub Craig McAllister.

But then Williamson raised the roof by curling in a brilliant equaliser into the top corner.

Harold Odamatey was one of two Maidenhead players to hit the woodwork before his 41st-minute strike gave the visitors a deserved lead.

A 51st-minute Harry Pritchard penalty looked to have clinched the points for the visitors.

But Obileye's spot kick and an 85th-minute red card for Maidenhead sub James Mulley raised hopes.

Then Williamson netted a sensational ninth goal of the season.
