Saints have had two home games moved in the first two months of the season.

Their Premier League campaign will now kick-off a day later than initially planned, on Sunday, August 12, as they host Burnley at 1.30pm at St Mary’s.

The moving of this fixture removes the element of doubt over which day the game will be on due to Burnley’s Europa League participation.

The second game to change is the St Mary’s match against Brighton, which is bumped to Monday, September 17, with an 8pm kick-off to be shown live on Sky Sports.
