CHERRIES star Callum Wilson shrugged off the disappointment of his spot-kick agony and insisted he would "never shy away" from taking penalties.
Wilson squandered the chance to double Cherries' lead against Cardiff on Saturday when he saw his effort from 12 yards saved by Neil Etheridge after 34 minutes.
Etheridge, the first player from the Philippines to appear in the Premier League, also became the first goalkeeper to save a penalty on his top-flight debut since Allan McGregor for Hull against Chelsea in August 2013.
Wilson, who won the penalty having been fouled by Bruno Ecuele Manga, had earlier provided the assist for Ryan Fraser to draw first blood for Cherries.
And the striker atoned for his miss when his finely-taken goal in stoppage-time killed off the Bluebirds.
Wilson told the Daily Echo: "I will be putting up my hand and will be the first one there.
"I never shy away. The sort of person I am, I love scoring goals and making sure I can affect things.
"I am a confident person so there is no way I will be stepping back next time."
