SAINTs U18s are out of the FA Youth Cup after losing 2-1 at Watford.

Striker Ryan Cassidy scored a goal in each half for Watford as Saints lost the fourth-round tie at Wingate & Finchley.

Cassidy gave the home side the lead midway through the first half, turning sharply and firing into the far corner from eight yards.

Saints equalised from the penalty spot in the 35th minute.

Enzo Robise was brought down and Kornelius Hansen sent the keeper the wrong way.

But in the 50th minute Cassidy sent a looping header over Saints keeper Jack Bycroft.

U18s boss Paul Hardyman said: “It was a disappointing performance, the lads are disappointed lads but no-one is more disappointed than myself.

"I see how hard the lads work in training and the quality they’ve got day in, day out. But they haven't shown it tonight, we were outworked."

Saints: Jack Bycroft, Kameron Ledwidge (capt), Caleb Watts, David Agbontohoma, Allan Tchaptchet, Enzo Robise, Alex Jankewitz (Dan Bartlett 60), Christian Norton, Kornelius Hansen (Taymar Fleary 72), Will Ferry.
