SAINTS midfielder Mario Lemina has returned to full training.

The 25-year-old hasn’t been seen in the first team since being substituted at half time against Manchester City last December.

Lemina had to undergo a minor operation at the end of January to resolve the abdominal injury he suffered.

Before surgery, Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl claimed that it “doesn’t look good” and revealed the Gabonese international was struggling to shoot.

He had been training on his own in order to get himself back to full fitness, but he’s now joined the rest of the team.

Also pictured in Saints training was Danny Ings.

Ings was forced off the pitch during the draw with Burnley at the beginning of February with a hamstring injury.

He was touch and go to play against Tottenham prior to the international break, but Hasenhuttl decided not to take any risks.

The pair’s return should prove to be a timely boost for Saints, as they are getting themselves ready for the final stretch of the Premier League season.
