Marek Saganowski has added his name to Saints' list of injured players.
The Polish international came on as a second half sub against Preston as boss George Burley took off both his forwards in a bid to win the game.
But Saganowski, who replaced Bradley Wright-Phillips, faces three weeks on the sidelines after tearing a groin muscle.
"Marek looks as if he's going to be out," reported Burley.
"He'll have a scan on Monday but it looks as though he's torn a groin muscle. He will be out for a few weeks."
