I do not understand why Pearson is a complete hero his results are no better than Burleys. I dont think many people me included thought he would take us into the relegation places but not beating Coventry and Burnley nearly cost us Championship Status. 3 Wins 7 Draws 3 Losses 16 points I dont really know if he is the man to guide us upwards only time will tell but he should be thanked for the team getting four points in the last two games. I would not be happy if we only had 16 points after 11 games next season. I feel the key to next season is whether Saga can play regularly and score goals and the recruitment of both a quality Centre Back and quality right Full Back

Give me a break. Pearson was superb. The mess he walked into was Burleys's - his players and nobody elses. Pearson brought in 3 fantastic loan signings and did something Burley didn't - played Saganowski. The way he has the team playing and working hard is something sorely lacking during Burley's tenure. PS. Watched Beckham play here last night and score 2 great goals - can't we sign him?

The big crowd you had this weekend was because everyone was expecting it to be a funeral, and even with a win, it would have been if others had won! You had to rely on others to keep your position! So you think that Saints will not slide down the leagues, as Pompey once did! Let me remind you that, this time last year you were play off material, at the opposite end of the table to what you ended this season! Your loan players will now return to the clubs that hold their registration! What does that leave you with? Optimism? I doubt it! Thanks Ronnie, same to you mate, your fans were great today,loads of banter flying around and some of the fancy dressed were truly inspired (particularly catwoman, could you leave her here,lol) I know its a cliche but football was the winner today and i made a point of clapping your fans because i think you were a credit to your club and your players and with that in mind i cant wait for the rematch next year.
