Mark Wotte says he will not risk any player missing the rest of the season just to figure in today’s clash with Wolves.

The Saints head coach has injury doubts over Rudi Skacel as well as Tuesday’s two goal hero Jan-Paul Saeijs.

He will leave a decision on their availability until as late as possible but insists he will not take undue risks with four massive games still remaining after the clash at Molineux.

He said: “I might miss one or two because I have to think that after Wolves there are another four very important games so I wont risk any player just to play against Wolves.

“If there are doubts I will bear that in mind before I take decisions over who will play.

“Rudi Skacel is doubtful, JP Saeijs is doubtful. Lee Holmes played half an hour for the reserves and picked up a little injury so he might be involved today or might be involved on Monday.

“Of course it’s a very important game but I don’t want to risk one player being out for the rest of the season because I want him to play.

“I think in every position we have good subs at the moment.”
