DISABLED Hampshire sailor Geoff Holt has set sail once more after engine problems forced to temporarily halt a record-breaking transatlantic crossing.
The 43-year-old from Shedfield left Lanzarote on December 11 bound for the Caribbean in a bid to become the first quadriplegic to sail solo across the Atlantic.
Geoff was forced to make a pitstop in the Cape Verde Islands when his engines became infected with contaminated diesel fuel but has since put to sea again.
He was hoping to arrive in Tortola for December 27 but is now running around a week behind schedule.
