Clark Kent returns to county cricket

11:33am Wednesday 6th January 2010

FORMER Hampshire seamer Stuart Clark has joined Kent as their overseas player for the first half of the 2010 season.

The 34 year-old had been set to join the county in a similar deal last year but his recall to the Australia side put an end to the move.

Clark played in the final two Tests of last summer's Ashes series and was a key figure in the Australia side that secured an Ashes whitewash in the 2006-07 series, taking 26 wickets at an average of 17.

He also has previous experience of county cricket having played for Hampshire in 2007 and Middlesex in 2005.
