SAINTS have announced that Marek Saganowski has signed for Greek side Atromitos.
The 31-year-old Polish striker has moved to the Athens-based club on a free transfer, signing a contract until the summer of 2011.
Rumours had been rife over the past few days that Saganowski, who has not been part of Alan Pardew's plans, was on his way to Greece.
Saganowski joined Saints in January 2007, under then manager George Burley.
He initially arrived at St Mary's on loan and produced a blistering run of form, before being signed on a full-time deal that summer.
However, his Saints career stalled after that and Saganowski has now moved on to pastures new.
