NEW signing Jonathan Forte will be aiming for another memorable debut if he makes his Saints bow at Peterborough tomorrow.
The last time the 24-year-old winger made his first appearance for a club he had a remarkable instant impact.
Forte plundered a first half hat-trick on his Notts County debut in November 2008, in a 4-0 thumping of Barnet, at Underhill.
That came after Nigel Adkins – then Scunthorpe boss – had decided to loan the forward player out to the Magpies to give him regular first team football.
In all, Forte made 18 appearances in his time at Meadow Lane – three off the bench – and scored eight goals.
He is now readying himself for his Saints debut, having joined the club for an undisclosed fee on transfer deadline day.
