SALISBURY City midfielder Stuart Anderson hopes to pull off an FA Cup shock at Sheffield United – eight years after winning silverware at Bramall Lane with Saints.
The 25-year-old Scot helped Saints Under-18s win 2-0 away to Sheffield United in the second-leg of the FA Premier Academy League play-off final back in May 2004.
Newcastle United striker Leon Best scored both goals that night as Saints completed a 5-1 aggregate victory, while a 15-year-old Theo Walcott came off the bench.
Also in that Saints side was Norwich City’s Andrew Surman and several current Championship players in Matthew Mills (Reading), Martin Cranie (Coventry), Simon Gillett (Doncaster) and Dexter Blackstock (Nottingham Forest).
