BRADLEY Bubb is determined to prove himself in npower League Two next season.
But, in the meantime, the on-loan Aldershot Town striker would like nothing better than to fire Eastleigh towards achieving their goal of one day joining the Shots in the Football League.
After a couple of near misses against Basingstoke and Salisbury, Bubb opened his Spitfires account in spectacular fashion last Saturday, scoring a hat-trick in the 4-0 slaying of Sutton United in the Blue Square Bet South.
It was business as usual for the 23-year-old Grenada international who turned goal-scoring into an art form during his prolific non-League career with Chalfont St Peter, Beaconsfield SYCOB and Eastleigh’s divisional rivals Farnborough, for whom he averaged a goal almost every other game.
It was on the back of netting 40 in 88 appearances for ’Boro that he got his break into professional football, signing a two-year contract for Aldershot in August last year.
Bubb, though, has made only one start for the Shots against Dagenham & Redbridge and, prior to joining Eastleigh for the rest of this season, had a spell on loan at Basingstoke.
“I’ve got another year with Aldershot after this one and hopefully next year I can go back and prove myself in League Two,” he said.
