Latest signings miss FA Cup clash

Harry Kane - set to face Saints Harry Kane - set to face Saints

LIKE Saints, Millwall will be without their latest signing tonight.

Strikers Billy Sharp and Andy Keogh, Millwall’s transfer deadline day arrival from Wolves, both made their debuts for their respective clubs on Saturday.

And both would be available for the fifth-round tie against Bolton Wanderers, should their side win tonight, as neither are cup tied.

But neither will be on show at St Mary’s tonight, having signed since the sides shared a 1-1 draw at the New Den ten days ago.

For Millwall, it means that teenage striker Harry Kane is likely to partner striker Darius Henderson, whose 86th-minute equaliser at St Mary’s set up tonight’s replay.

Funny that last week the echo wrote an article which said exactly the opposite, along the lines of 'Sharp could face formers teammate in cup clash' referring to Keogh. Expert reporting as always.....

Is Mr Lee availible ???

If you can access the Saints OS you can read an article by NA that clearly says that "Tadanari Lee will start the game and it will be great for him to go and play". It is unusual to reveal this kind of info but perhaps it may sell a few more tickets? No excuse for the plastics, get your butts on the seats.

If you had paid any attention when the original tie took place, you will of noticed that 'Mr Lee' actually came on as a sub in that game

Probably a 3-1 win for Saints tonight...Hope we manage to get a good turnout of true fans. The League is the priority, but a nice Cup run would be good, especially as a win tonight would let us see how we do against another Premier team

The worst Daily Echo comment so far for me is the result of our last game...

I know it was snowing hard but did I miss something?

Whoops! Simon just needs to move AT ST. MARY'S to the end of the sentence.

It's a tiny bit like saying, 'the concerned social worker', instead of 'the social worker concerned'.

Simple cut and paste "at St Marys" put it after the word replay and it makes sense.

Is it not a bit cold, over there?

It's dry, bright and snow-free here ..... BUT, it's really, really bitter. I'd think twice about going out this evening. Mind you, having got away with it over the past week, I won't even be following on line. Nope, alas, it's the cinema this evening.

Compared to some of the Country it is plus 3 Degrees, positively tropical compared to most of the land, we missed out on the snowfall completely, yes it will be cold tonight, hopefully the standard of football will keep our minds off of it.

Grief! A heatwave. That shouldn't stop the punters, then.

So, it's probably just a case of priorities during HARD TIMES then.
