Bookmakers suspended betting on Harry Redknapp succeeding Fabio Capello as England manager after the Tottenham boss was acquitted of tax avoidance charges.
Redknapp is seen as the most likely choice of successor by the Football Association after Fabio Capello’s dramatic resignation yesterday.
FA chairman David Bernstein has previously said there was “a national desire” for the next England manager to be English and Redknapp’s success, especially with Spurs in recent years, makes him the outstanding domestic candidate.

t. . Allegedly HR also received a % of Jamies transfer to Liverpool from Bournemouth for £350k. ......... so these perks do go back some years at least since 1991
