Was at the game today and the fans were great. The boys played very well in the first half and in my opion Kelvin could of sat in a deck chair and enjoyed the sunshine. Our first goal was a very good header from a very good ball in, but their keeper was stuck in no mans land and could only stand and watch an artist at work. The second goal was not long in coming but executed perfectly. Adam got the ball left side of the penalty box and with quick silvered feet had beaten his man and hit a low hard cross that the artist buried into the net in one quick movement, superb.
Watford raised their game in the second half and i thought it was even stevens, chances at both ends without either keeper really troubled. Tadanari had one effort that was only about a foot over the bar. This young man will be very good for us when he really settles in.His penalty was awarded when he was fouled whilst trying to score with a diving header which gave the artist his hatrick.
We are back to our confident best and playing solid football. For the first time today i heard the fans sing THE SAINTS ARE GOING UP, THE SAINTS ARE GOING UP, NOW YOU BETTER BELIEVE USSSSS. THE SAINTS ARE GOING UP, and i for one believe them.
In the whole of S.F.C. i trust and will follow until my dying day. C O Y REDSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
    great post Bob.. absolutely brilliant"

Rickie Lambert bagged his third hat-trick of the season to fire Saints back to the top of the Championship table.

The prolific striker scored twice in the space of ten first half minutes before rounding off a 3-0 win at Watford from the penalty spot.

With West Ham only drawing at home to Crystal Palace, the result saw Saints climb back to the league summit on a day when Birmingham also lost at home to relegation threatened Nottingham Forest.
