Dan Seaborne is set take another step on the road back towards a first-team return today.

The Saints defender is due to start for the under-21 side in their match with Brighton at Staplewood this afternoon.

It will be the centre half’s third appearance this month for what effectively doubles as the reserve team.

Seaborne is working his way back from a serious head injury that has kept him out since the start of September.

The 25-year-old has been training with the first team for the last few weeks and will have a chance to further sharpen his game and increase his match fitness today.
