Southampton stars called up for international duty

SAINTS defender Maya Yoshida, pictured, has been included in the Japan squad for their friendly matches against France and Brazil.

Japan will play France at Saint-Denis on October 12, before facing Brazil in Wroclaw, Poland, on October 16.

Saints striker Tadanari Lee, who has been out with an elbow injury, has not been named in the squad.

Meanwhile, Gaston Ramirez has been included in the Uruguay squad to face Argentina and Bolivia, Steven Davis will captain Northern Ireland in Portugal and Emmanuel Mayuka will represent Zambia against Uganda in the African Cup of Nations qualifer.
