Eastleigh will have the afternoon off tomorrow after crisis-club Truro City missed a payment deadline.

The Cornish outfit were due to play Eastleigh at the Silverlake Stadium, but the game was called off when they failed to lodge a £50,000 bond with the Football Conference by midday today.

It has since been paid, ensuring that Truro can continue to play in Conference South - but not in time to fulfil their fixture against the Spitfires.

Truro beat AFC Totton in the 2007 FA Vase final but went into administration in August after being saddled with debts of £700,000 when owner Keith Heaney went bankrupt.
