HAMPSHIRE will change their Twenty20 name to the Hampshire Royals after joining forces with Shane Warne’s Indian Premier League franchise.
As exclusively revealed on the Daily Echo website on Wednesday, the Rajasthan Royals are set to unveil a groundbreaking global alliance with Hampshire and other Twenty20 teams from around the world.
Hampshire chairman Rod Bransgrove has this week been negotiating with Rajasthan counterpart Manoj Badale, whose company Emerging Media owns the franchise.
