Hampshire’s James Vince failed with the bat as England Lions suffered another one-day tour loss to Victoria today.
Vince, opening the batting, was out for just three as the Lions were dismissed for 173 at the MCG.
Opener Rob Quiney, who made his Australian Test debut against South Africa before Christmas, then struck 76 as Victoria raced to victory on 174-2 in under 38 overs.
The Lions now face five ODIs against Australia A at Hobart and Sydney, starting this Saturday.
