HAMPSHIRE Cricket has increased the Ageas Bowl’s capacity for its 2015 one-day internationals.
Due to demand, extra tickets have been made available for England’s Ageas Bowl matches against New Zealand on Sunday, June 14 and Australia on Thursday, September 3.
So the first international against the backdrop of the Ageas Bowl’s soon-to-be-completed hotel currently has a capacity of 15,500, which has been increased to 19,000 for the opening game of the ODI series against Australia (£60 adults, £10 Under-17s).
More tickets could yet be made available, depending on demand. Commercial Director Stuart Robertson said: “This shows there is a huge interest in international cricket from people in the south.
“There’s still a buzz around the ground since the success of the Test Match last year and we envisage these additional seats to go quickly.”
