Perth Scorchers won by ten wickets after dropping Michael Carberry this morning.
The Hampshire star's replacement, Aussie Test batsman Shaun Marsh, made an unbeaten 76 (54 balls) and Michael Klinger 90 as the Scorchers beat Melbourne Renegades by ten wickets - despite the home side's opening stand of 98 between Aaron Finch (72) and Chris Gayle (41).
Carberry was bowled for 12 (five balls) by a googly from former England Lions teammate Adil Rashid as the Scorchers lost their opening game and was not required to bat as the Scorchers beat Brisbane Heat by nine wickets on Boxing Day.
Perth's other overseas player, Yorkshire and England star David Willey, has impressed with the ball, taking four wickets while conceding only 6.08 runs an over during the first three games.
