James Vince hit Hampshire teammate Liam Dawson for six as he impressed AGAINST England ahead of Wednesday's World T20 opener against West Indies - for a Mumbai XI.

The Hampshire captain was one of four players - alongside Adil Rashid, Jos Buttler and David Willey - who guested for a Mumbai Cricket Association XI in England's final warm-up match.

England recorded their second warm-up victory in three days, despite Vince's 38-ball 45, after Mumbai were restricted to 163-6, chasing 178.

Batting at number three, Vince struck Dawson for one of his four fours as well as a six over long-on against Dawson - straight after being dropped at extra cover by Liam Plunkett.

Vince and Buttler shared a fourth-wicket stand of 47 in five overs with Buttler, who contributed 25 (16 balls).

Both were bowled by precision yorkers in successive overs from Chris Jordan (2-34), while Reece Topley took 2-26.

Dawson, who did not face a delivery after coming in for the final ball of England's 177-8, conceded 21 from three overs - 18 of which came off Vince's bat.

Willey also pressed his case by claiming a hat-trick against his team-mates - top-scorer Root (48), Moeen Ali and Jordan dismissed by successive deliveries to close the first innings - while Rashid's leg-spin accounted for openers Jason Roy (32) and Alex Hales (37).

That mix-and-match selection ensured all 15 of Trevor Bayliss' squad saw competitive action before Wednesday's opening Super 10 game.
