Hampshire seamer Chris Wood has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The 25-year-old suffered the problem while bowling during Hampshire's Specsavers County Championship matches against Yorkshire and Middlesex earlier this season.
With the injury worse than originally feared, Wood underwent surgery last week and will not play again during this season.
Wood, who is out of contract at the end of the season, had his other knee operated on 18 months ago.
