Mason Crane’s astonishing Australian wicket haul goes on and on.
The talented Hampshire leg-spinner grabbed his third seven-wicket haul of the calendar year as his adopted club Gordon stormed to 191-run win over Sydney and second place in the powerful New South Wales Premier Competition.
He took 7-53 as Sydney crashed from 80 without loss to 146 all out, replying to Gordon’s 337 all out.
Crane is now back on top of the NSW bowling charts with 44 league wickets – he has taken 62 in all competitions – which include 7-93 (v Mosman), 7-121 (North Sydney) and 5-66 against Parramatta, all in the past five weeks.
