Mason Crane has been made available for Hampshire’s last three County Championship matches of the season.
The leg-spinner will replace Liam Dawson, who is with England’s IT20 squad, preparing for Saturday’s match against West Indies at the Riverside.
But George Bailey is unavailable due to his involvement in the World XI v Pakistan three-match T20 series in Lahore, which starts tomorrow.
Champions Middlesex are without Toby Roland-Jones (sore side), Dawid Malan (England T20 squad), Nick Gubbins (hamstring) and Ireland duo Tim Murtagh and Paul Stirling as they try to widen their 13-point advanatge over second-from-bottom Somerset.
Former Hampshire fast bowler Tom Barber is in contention to make his first-class debut after being included in a 13-man squad.
The left-armer impressed in Hampsire's T20 win at Lord's last month hitting speeds of 90mph.
