Hampshire will be boosted by the return of Neil McKenzie for the Clydesdale Bank 40 final - but Dimi Mascarenhas will not play.
Despite missing the semi-final win against Sussex after returning to South Africa, McKenzie will be back for the last game of the season against Warwickshire at Lord’s on September 15.
But Mascarenhas will miss Hampshire's bid for a second trophy after worsening his shoulder injury at t20 Finals Day.
Hampshire manager Giles White confirmed: "Dimi won’t play till the Champions League but McKenzie’s coming back.
“It’s something we were going to do if we got to the final. He’s been part of the team and is keen to come back.”
Warwickshire should secure the LV County Championship title tomorrow but they also received the bad news that Jonathan Trott will not be available to them a week on Saturday, a scan having revealed that he has a fractured hand.
Danny Briggs will not be able to play in the CB40 final due to his inclusion in the World Twenty20 and may also miss out on at least some of the Champions League because of his wedding.
White added: “Danny's wedding does clash so we’re seeing where we are with that.”
Hampshire are still hoping to sign Shahid Afridi and Glenn Maxwell by September 10, when the Royals must name their 15-man Champions League squad.
