Simon Beetham, Lymington’s new young captain, has announced three more signings for his ECB Southern Electric Premier League squad.
Joining Lymington are former Hampshire Academy all-rounder Ryan Scott and teenage duo Dominic Hand and Ben Rogers, who both played for relegated Bournemouth last term.
Scott, the teenage son of the former Hampshire left-hander and now head Middlesex coach Richard Scott, recently returned after spending the winter playing grade cricket for Claremont-Nedlands in the WACA pennant competition.
Hand, a spin bowling all-rounder, debuted for Bournemouth last summer, alongside Rogers, a rapid scoring opening batsman, formerly of Canford School. As previously reported, Lymington have recruited teenage New South Wales prospect Damien Mortimer, who played for Australia in the recent ICC Under-19 World Cup in the UAE.
Matt Metcalfe, who won the Premier Division bowling prize last summer, has re-signed alongside hard hitting former Dorset left-hander Darren Cowley.
