| Sudden death pain for Scorpions in Jim Pearson Quarter final | | 4:44pm Sunday 9th March 2008 | | Things looked good for Hedge End Scorpions who having put out City Central 3-0 then went on to hold the powerful Wyvern Saints to a goal-less draw and then take the lead in the penalty shoot out. In a tense shootout, the Saints levelled the score after five penalties each were taken, to take the tie to sudden death. With the Scorpions missing and the Saints scoring, it will be the Saints who go on to face Winchester Eagles in next weeks Semi final. |
