Granley Rovers lose final games but end up winners

Granley Rovers finshed off their campaign with two defeats, going down 1-0 to City Central and 6-0 to St Denys where Tyler Norris scored a brace. However they finshed the game on a high as two 10/10 Fair Play marks enabled them to run out winners of the Fair Play League for the Blue Division.

Seven goal Bowden seals it for Saints

Wyvern Saints secured the Blue League title this week as a seven goal Tom Bowden blast was sufficient to ensure the Saints pipped Hedge End Rhinos on goal difference.

The topsy turvy world at the top of the Blue League took more dramatic turns this week leaving the title still undecided as Wyvern Saints and Hedge End Rhinos set up an exciting finale with just one remaining game each.

All to play for as Cougars maul Rhinos

Tadburn Cougars blew wide open the Blue League title race as they beat leaders Hedge End Rhinos 3-1 to set up a thrilling climax in the Blue League title race, Elliot Mitchell-Lee's brace being the diffrerence between the sides. The Rhinos did bounce back to gain a 6-0 win over St Deny's with James Holder and Dylan Kirkwood scoring two apiece. Tadburn meanwhile struggled to beat the other Cougars from Hedge End, eventually running out 1-0 winners.

Rhinos soar to top spot

With the remainder of the Blue League fixtures falling foul of the weather, Hedge End Rhinos took full advantage with two wins over neighbours Hedge End Cougars which took them to the top of of the Blue League. A 3-0 win was followed by an 8-0 victory as the Cougars tired. James Holder was on the mark for the Rhinos with a hat-trick and Dylan Kirkwood also weighed in with two.

Top four all win as Eastleigh halt Rhinos charge

Things are hotting up at the top of the Blue League as all four top sides picked up maximum points, whilst Hedge End Rhinos, with games in hand, lost a precious point in a 2-2 draw with Eastleigh, for whom Brad Elkins scored two. The Rhinos made no mistake in their other match, running out 6-1 winners over Granley Rovers.

Tight at the top

Things remain extremely tight at the top of the Blue League as leaders Sportstars Red shared the points with secong place Totton Rangers before overcoming fellow high flyers Tadburn Cougars 4-2, thanks to two goals apiece from Kieran Sykes and Harvey Bradbury. Totton kept in touch as Charlie Baker grabbed two goals in the narrow 2-1 win over Eastleigh. Eastleigh also fell to a Harry Tulk hat-trick as the Cougars beat them 4-2.

All change at top of Blue League

It was a changing picture at the top of the Blue League this week as a weakened Hedge End Rhinos slipped down the table following a goaless draw with Tadburn Cougars and a five goal thumping from Totton Rangers for whom Ross Stickland scored four. Ther are now only four points separating the top six sides in this most competitive of leagues.

City Central are only four pointers in Blue League this week

City Central were the only team to pick up maximum points in the Blue League this week as all of the clubs above them took points off of each other. The City slickers kept two clean sheets as they recorded 3-0 amd 1-0 wins over Townhill Tornadoes and Hedge End Cougars respectively. The Tornadoes had Carlo Raucci to thank as he knocked in both goals against Bitterne Sports Red who had earlier edged past Hedge End Cougars 1-0.
