City Central are only four pointers in Blue League this week
City Central were the only team to pick up maximum points in the Blue League this week as all of the clubs above them took points off of each other. The City slickers kept two clean sheets as they recorded 3-0 amd 1-0 wins over Townhill Tornadoes and Hedge End Cougars respectively. The Tornadoes had Carlo Raucci to thank as he knocked in both goals against Bitterne Sports Red who had earlier edged past Hedge End Cougars 1-0.
Eastleigh Youth did well to share the points with Tadburn Cougars before going on to beat Totton Rangers White 3-1.Granley Rovers fared less well against the same opposition, losing 2-0 to Totton, before being hit by a Harry Tulk double hat-trick in a 9-0 hammering.
Sportstars Red found Hythe Harriers a difficult nut to crack as they nicked a 1-0 win before being held to a 1-1 draw in the back-to-back encounter.
Congratulations to Wyvern Saints who took the first point of the season off of runaway leaders Hedge End Rhinos in a 0-0 draw.
