Pace Panthers 3 - 2 Warsash Wasps Green
An exciting match which could have gone either way. Chris and George were in attack, with Ben in midfield, Brynley and Michael in defence and Nick in goal. There was some great passing, brilliant headers from Ben, and super attacking play with both Chris and George having chances to score and being a handful to the Panther's defence but only kept at bay by the Panther's goalkeeper. Some sustained pressure from the Panthers, Brynley making a great tackle and Michael able to clear the ball up field. Unfortunately a corner was deflected off the Warsash defence into the goal. Nick made a couple of great saves to keep Panthers at bay. George had a great run from defence passed a great ball to Chris who with a determined run and a great strike was unlucky not to score.

Warsash Wasps Green 0 - 4 Hedge End Eagles
Straight from the kickoff, pass from Ben to George then to Luke who had a shot on goal - saved by the goalkeeper. This looked like how the boys were training yesterday and we were hopeful that the previous meeting of these two teams wouldn't finish in the 10-0 scoreline. The wind was with the boys in the first half but it was cold. Hedge End Eagles had a few shots which were off target. Steve had to save from a couple of sure goals. One exciting move in the first half saw a clearance from a Hedge End corner, taken by George up the full length of the pitch but defended by Hedge End for a corner. A great corner from Ben and George was unlucky not to score. Luke had a couple of attempts. Nick took a ball in the leg and had to be substituted with Alex.
Hedge End Eagles report
8:36pm Sun 16 Dec 07
Hedge End Eagles 9 - 0 Pace Panthers
With the first game of the day under our belt and the weather warming up , the Eagles took no time to continue where they left off , in full control from start to finish , nine goals of pure quality with four players all on the score sheet , a special well done to Bleu getting a hat-trick and Hayden netting in four ....The football played in this game was intelligent and very constructive and a great advert for under 9s soccer well done boys very pleasing performance .....
Hedge End Eagles report
8:33pm Sun 16 Dec 07
Hedge End Eagles 3 - 0 S & D Youth
The score line could have been a lot more in favour to the Eagles , three nil and keeping a clean sheet is always a great result , but full marks and credit has to go out to the keeper between the posts for S & D , Eagles had chance after chance in front of goal but were denied by some great shot stopping by the keeper , S & D defending in numbers and this reflected in the scoreline .
