Winsor at the double

Winsor trebled their points tally for the season thanks to back-to-back victories over fellow strugglers Hythe Strikers. A Ben Conway hat-trick and a Brad Whittle pair helped them to a convincing 8-0 victory over a ring rusty Hythe side, who battled back in the second game only losing to the odd goal in five. Sam Target hit the bulls eye twice for Winsor, Iwan Blann doing likewise for the Strikers in the second encounter.

Colden Common A strengthened their position at the top of the league with two hard fought victories over Townhill Emperors and Sarisbury Sparks. The Emperors went on to inflict a heavy 7-0 defest of Botley Green, Clayd Roach weighing in with three and Andrew Campbell two. Sarisbury also overcame Botley by a narrower two goal margin.

It was a mixed day for Whiteley who overcame Bitterne Terriers Blue 3-0, thanks to an Ed Ditchburn brace. They had no answer to Alresford Town A's Jimmy Hawkings however, Jimmy capped a fine hat-trick with a long distance free kick which David Beckham would have been proud of.

Third and fourth placed Littleton Lions and Michelmarsh & Timsbury fought out two draws in their back to back matches to maintain the status quo.
