Sarisbury Sparkle and Colden run riot
Sarisbury Sparks are really finding their feet now in the Red League as this week they followed up a 4-1 win over Hythe Strikers with a surprise 1-0 victory over high riding Littleton Lions.
Botley Village Green had the misfortune of having a back to back game with leaders Colden Common and the rampant Common showed no mercy, scoring seven then fifteen without reply. Goal machine Jason Probert did most damage, with a tally of eleven over the two matches, Ryan Gregory also weighed in with five.
it was a mixed day for Townhill Emperors who went down 3-0 to Littleton before cruising to a 5-1 win over Hythe.
Pace Pumas kept close on the heels of the leaders with two five goal victories over Bitterne Sports Blue and Michemarsh & Timsbury, Ryan Chester grabbing a brace in both matches and Callum Hine adding a hat-trick in the M & T match.
Whiteley went down by the odd goal in three to M & T before overcoming a battling Winsor 4-2, Sam Fisher scoring a hat-trick in the process.
Jimmy Hawkings bagged another five in Alresford Town's 7-0 win over Bitterne to complete the Red League fixtures for the day.
