Pumas one pace away from title
Pace Pumas secured maximum points this weekend to take them within one point of the Red League title. Following a hard fought 2-0 win over Sarisbury Sparks, the Pumas ran out 5-3 winners against Townhill Emperors thanks to four goals from Ryan Chester. Josh Price scored two for the Emperors, the first of which was one of the best goals of the day.
Sarisbury had earlier beaten Hythe Striker Spitfires 4-0 with Lewis Wild scoring a hat-trick.
Alresford Town A consolidated their third position with two wins, overcoming Winsor 4-0 and Michemarsh & Timsbury 3-0. Michelmarsh did pick up two points, thanks to a 4-0 victory over Bitterne Terriers Blue, Jordan Colman grabbing two for M & T. Bitterne didn't go home empty handed however, as they edged past Winsor 1-0.
In a couple of tightly fought back-to-back games, Littleton Lions emerged on top against Whiteley, picking up three points thanks to a 2-0 win and a goal-less draw.
