Colden defer Pace celebrations

Colden Common A virtually guaranteed themselves at least runners up spot as a Jason Probert hat-trick helped them to a 3-1 win over Pace Pumas who were hoping to seal the title this week. With three games left the Pumas need just one point to secure the title. In their other game Colden extended their goal difference with an 8-1 win over Bitterne Terriers Blue who had done well to keep the score to 1-1 at the half way mark. Matt Musgrove and Jason Probert both scored hat-trick in this win.

Third placed Alresford Town A need to improve their goal difference a massive 24 goals if they are to overhaul Colden Common, despite banging in twelve without reply against Botley Village Green where Jimmy Hawkings and Francesca Thornton both grabbed four.

Bitterne's Wesley Hunt scored twice in their 3-0 win over Hythe Strikers, who themselves picked up two rare points in a narrow victory over fellow strugglers Botley Village Green. Jack Ashton-Hurst scored two for the victors whilst Wyatt Brennan did likewise for the Villagers.

Whiteley Juniors and Townhill Emperors were closely matched in their back-to-back fixtures where Whiteley came out just on top, winning by a goal to nil in the first match and drawing 1-1 in the second after weathering sustained Townhill pressure.
